2011 was another exciting and successful year for Pointer Lake Lodge.
We had a combination of Canadian and American guests. Ages varied from seven to eighty-three years old.
Our largest pike caught was fifty-two inches long. Our guests enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the serenity of the camp. Many wildlife sightings was a hit, guests seen moose, bald eagles, bears, martens, and of course plenty of loons.
We kept busy doing some renovations and upgrades to the camp. Plus enjoyed doing guiding and cooking for the guests who chose that package.
Check out the magazine Across and Abroad as we were chosen for an article on fly fishing.
We met many new people and became good friends before the trip was over.We were excited and pleased as one guest stated and I quote “we had a trip of a lifetime”. Come and meet us next year for a great experience in great northern Saskatchewan.
